New guidance from the US Federal Government: after the decline in the number of new coronary pneumonia cases, consider resuming work and resuming production. U.S. president trump said some states can restart business activities and open schools by May 1st.
According to US media reports, US President Trump announced the guidance on reopening the economy on the conference call held with the governors of the states on the 16th. In principle, the states decide on their own.
Bloomberg reported that the federal government’s guidance suggested that states should relax the “home order” after new coronary pneumonia cases have shown a “declining trajectory” and reopen in three stages. Trump said that some states can restart business activities and open schools before May 1.
The guidance suggests that employers should develop methods to maintain employees’ social distance, measure body temperature in the workplace, perform new coronary pneumonia testing, strengthen hygiene and disinfection. In addition, symptomatic employees need a medical certificate to return to work.
