Director of the Nigerian President’s Office dies of new pneumonia
According to the Nigerian “Daily Mail” report, Abba Kyari, director of the Nigerian President’s Office of Nigeria, died of a new coronavirus pneumonia on the 17th.
The report pointed out that Abba Chiari was one of the country’s closest advisers to President Muhammadu Buhari. He used to be the chief executive officer of the United Bank of Africa and was appointed presidential chief of staff in August 2015 , Regarded as one of the powerful political figures in Nigeria.
It is reported that Chiari went to Germany on the 7th of last month. After returning to China on the 14th, he had no symptoms. However, he received the new coronavirus test, and the test result was positive on the 23rd.
The report pointed out that Nigeria has added 120 new cases of new coronavirus pneumonia in the past three days, which has caused public anxiety and worry. On the 17th, 51 new cases were confirmed in the country, and a total of 493 cases were confirmed.
